We are proud that we can also offer a collection of birth announcements, wedding invitations and funeral cards with foil, even with cards that you can customize yourself! For only € 2.50 you will receive your own unique proof of your foil card, in a nice surprise package.
How does it work?
We currently only offer cards from our special foil collection. With all these cards in this strategy you can change the name yourself and choose which type of foil you would like: gold foil, silver foil or copper foil. In the editor you can easily change the type of film chosen by us in the color palette. You can also add elements from the clip-art, but these cannot (yet) be printed in foil. If in doubt, please contact us. cards that are elsewhere on the site cannot yet be printed with foil. What is possible: you can have the name of your child and the date printed in foil on each card of your choice.
Please contact us if you would like to have a card from our collection printed with Foil, we can see if we can convert the card for you into foil.
Paper types and minimum print run
With the foil cards you can choose between the paper types of coated cardboard and linen. Note: Prefer not to use linen for cards with dark areas of color.
Due to the special, expensive printing process, we have set a minimum edition of 20 cards for foil cards. Of course you can order a proof of your foil card. For the first proof you pay € 2.50, after that you pay the regular card price of € 4.95.
Delivery time
The delivery time of the cards is as follows: cards that are ordered before 6 pm will be transferred to the post within 2 working days. Proofs are delivered by letterbox mail. This takes 1-2 working days in the Netherlands, to Belgium this can take up to 7 working days. Your final order will be delivered in a package. Packages are usually delivered within one day after they are handed over to the post. Foil cards are only printed on working days. This means that we work with the following shipping days:
Ordered before 6 pm on Monday to Thursday, printed the same day, shipped the next working day.
Ordered before 6 pm on Friday to Sunday, printed on Monday, shipped on Tuesday.
Prices of the gold foil cards
Are you curious about the prices of our foil cards? On the page where your favorite card is, you will find the price, because it differs per size and paper type (for the luxury paper type linen we charge a surcharge). The more cards you order, the less you pay per card. View the scale by clicking on the 'i'. At JilleJille.nl, shipping is free!
Do's en don'ts
Since foil stamping is a particularly complicated process, there are a few things to keep in mind. If you have any questions or want advice about this, we are there for you every working day from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm!
- If you would like to use the paper type linen, then we do not recommend printing dark areas of color on your card.
- We always advise to order a proof/sample of your chosen card first.
- Do not use thin fonts for foil cards, they do not work well for foil cards.
- Unfortunately, our shipping service is currently not yet available for foil cards.
- On every card in the collection the name of your child can be printed in gold foil! Other elements are not always possible with our regular cards. For more information, please contact us.
Tip: combine with our golden extras
We have some nice extras that make your gold foil card even more beautiful! For example, we have gold envelopes and gold foil envelopes. Or make a label with gold text to hang on the card, which is also very nice to combine with your foil card!
